She is co-founder of has spoken at the NIH as a health advocate, is a member of the Royal Society, wrote many mental health articles specializing on academia, and her first book is scheduled to be released in August - "Managing your mental health, a survival guide" by Springer Nature. Ayres is an analytical chemist and advocate for mental health. She delivered her lecture by zoom conference from her home in the UK. Zoey Ayres gave a 30-40 minute presentation on "Postdoctoral Mental Health: A conversation (I wish I could have) with my younger self".
